Since 1949 we've designed and built commercial cleaning machines in Australia — inventing the suction polisher in 1969 and earning a worldwide reputation for machines with a legendarily long life. Today the range spans electric, gas and battery power, sold and serviced through 225+ distributors at home and partners in 7 countries.

In 1990, Polivac underwent a change of management. Mr. Tony Antonious, the current owner and Managing Director, has further developed the company into a leading international manufacturer.
Founded on the invention of the world's first suction polisher, the PV25, Polivac has developed a wide product range to suit all types of commercial cleaning. Previously dual-focused on machinery and chemicals, under Mr. Antonious' leadership Polivac made a strategic move to concentrate on highly productive, operator-friendly machinery.
Today, Polivac is a leading name in commercial cleaning equipment with 225+ distributors in Australia and 18 internationally — a range covering hard floor maintenance, carpet cleaning, concrete grinding and finishing through to timber floor sanding, back pack and canister vacuum cleaners.
